Hi everyone~
I hope you all had a relaxing weekend and are ready to start this new (and sunny) week!
I am writing to encourage you!
By now you have received the email with our class schedule attached.
I want to repeat what Donna and I emphasized last week—if you do not get to all or any of the homework, please do not stress over it.
Lysa also covered this in the video.
Life gets crazy and busy and sometimes we just can’t get it done…..but here’s the thing….DO NOT MISS MEETING WITH YOUR BIBLE STUDY GIRLFRIENDS.
We need each other girls.
Let’s all commit to resist giving in to the voice that tells us we are too tired to come, our homework isn’t done and we won’t be missed.
You
are missed and 9 times out of 10 we all can testify that once at study, we are so happy we pushed through and showed up.
We never ask for a commitment to this group and we never will, but I am challenging us all to commit ourselves to press on when life gets heavy and you just want to stay home! We have all been there!
My deepest desire is that each one of us will keep growing and moving forward in our relationship with Jesus and our Christian sisters!
It is vital to our staying connected to the vine~ no one can do it alone.
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”. ~Proverbs 27:17
It goes without saying that there are times when we just can't make it to study for a whole variety of important reasons~ that is always understandable and there is always grace~ but we really do want to be more than just “good Bible study girls” when this study is done!
Well, I didn’t keep this short at all.
One last plea…..if you cannot do the homework, please try to at least read through the pages and familiarize yourself with the scripture and topic.
Much, much love to all of you!
See you tomorrow night at Margie’s! Carpool if you can!
Love,
Laura
