We are gearing up for Fall! If you live in or near the Damascus area, we would love for you to join us at the Manorwood Cafe Bible Study! We will meet on Tuesday evenings for 12 weeks, beginning on September 4th.
We are doing Lysa TerKeurst's new study, "UNGLUED." You can see more at www.ungluedbook.com.
Our doors are always open--we NEVER close and do feel free to bring friends! All are welcome at any time.

Though I've only visited the "cafe" a couple times, I'm touched by the honesty and sincerity of those sharing their stories. I'm looking forward to the Unglued sessions this fall. Thank you to everyone involved!
ReplyDeleteWhen I joined this group, I was very unsure about whether I would be comfortable in it. As it turns out, I've made friends, feel comfortable and feel God's presence with us each time we meet. It's a great, safe place to laugh, cry, share, be quiet, think, pray and see God at work in other wonderful women of faith.
ReplyDeleteI agree. There is a level of acceptance I don't find often among groups of women. I've been through several studies at Manorwood. They always deal with who I am as a child of God and challenge me to look inward at what needs to change.
ReplyDeleteI have only attended the summer Bible study but find it very thought provoking and I enjoy the exchange of views from all the different women. I would like to join the study this Sept if my work schedule allows--the "Unglued" book looks to be interesting.
ReplyDeleteHonest, safe, warmly welcoming, great thought provoking studies with awesome women from all faith levels and backgrounds, truly a safe, comfortable group of women, look forward every Tuesday to be among these women.
ReplyDeleteWhat a special group of ladies! The atmosphere is like no other bible study group I've been a part of. People are genuine and caring and the discussion is thought-provoking and challenges me to take steps to be more like Jesus.
